MY DADDY....

You have all been so AWESOME to me during the time I lost my Daddy.....although I will NEVER get over him....I miss everything about him...
I DO appreciate all of your emails and phone calls and kind words.....it means a lot to me & to my mom & sister. We are still grieving and I am sure we will be for years to come....He was the one who taught me how much we need to cherish the old antique things in life...learn about your heritage and where you come from...respect your elders and learn from them......He taught me about God....He taught me about how important family is and to always fight for what you want and believe in! The list of the things he taught me could go on and on....but the bottom line is....I am determined to keep him with me....he will always be in my heart..a part of my soul forever......I miss him deeply......
I love you Daddy!!!!!!!
Love,
Your baby girl

I'm so sorry to hear about your Daddy. I lost my Dad in 2006 and I still grieve everyday. I know that he is with the Lord but I still long to hear his voice, see his smile. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Take care and God Bless

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. I was raised by my grandparents and I lost my grandfather in 12/07 to a three year battle with alzheimers. I felt that a piece of me went with him, I still miss him so much. But I know he is with the Lord and all our dear ones that passed before him and I know his thoughts are clear, he can talk again and that he's there waiting for me telling all who will listen his stories of way back when.

Becky,
Sorry to hear how hard the loss is for you and your family. I lost both my parents, years ago and I still think about them and miss being able to talk and be with them, but they are always in my heart.

Becky,
It has been one year since I lost my dear Daddy and I still miss him like the day he was gone. It takes time but you will heal and be able to laugh again. Some days are better than others but you will get through this. Keeping him in your thoughts helps to keep him close. Look for pennies. I believe they are kisses or thoughts from the ones we have loved and lost. Every time Mom and i are together, I find a penny. Sweet really as dad used to give me his pennies.

so sorry to hear about the loss of your dad. Dads are special in so many ways in different ways to each of our siblings. me being the youngest of 6 got a lot of his attention. He was very protective of me during my teen years and always concerned for my well being in my adult years. during the last few years of his life I took care of him and it was the best years I spent with him. I was so glad I could do it. I have lost both parents and the memories of them remain in my heart. I am so glad you had that relationship with your father. God Bless!
